Zibo Aston

Zibo is located between the mountainous and the flat, plain area of the Shandong province. Zibo is in an ideal geographical location, with Mountain Tai in the south, the Yellow River in the north, seashore tourist cities like Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai in the east, and the City of Spring--Jinan, in the west.

Zibo is an important hub in Shandong, facilitating both railroad and highway transport. The total length of railway in the city is 558 kilometers. The road has 15 main lines leading to other cities. The roads have a total length of over 3000 kilometers. Jiqing Highway crosses the whole city from east to west. It is only 70 kilometers from ZhangDian to Jinan International Airport. It is 210 kilometers to the Qingdao port in the east. As you can see, Zibo is conveniently located near major air and shipping ports. Zibo is also a mail-processing station and a telecommunication center in Shandong.

Zibo is one of the birthplaces of Chinese civilization, around 4000 to 7000 years ago. Zibo has experienced three stages of culture: Beixin, the Dawenkou, and the Longshan culture. After the Western Zhou Dynasty was established, JiangShang named this area Qi Guo and opened up Qi Guo culture. For serveral centuries, Zibo was the country’s political, economic, and cultural center. It has been honored as a “famous capital”. Up to the early period of the Xihan Dynasty, Zibo was still “more developed than Chang’an”

PuSongling, the leader of the Qing Dynasty literary arena with his work "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio", is becoming well-known to foreigners. PuSongling is considered part of the “three celebrities” along the Xiaofu river, along with Wang Yuyang and Zhao Zhixin. Pujiazhuang village of Zichuan District, is also becoming a travel destination.

Zibo is an important merchandise collection, distribution center and the trading center in Shangdong province. Emerging tertiary industries, such as finance, insurance, real estate, traveling, information service, have all made rapid development.
