xiangfan

Xiangyang is the second largest city of Hubei province. Xiangyang has two big parts---the beautiful historic city of Xiangcheng and Fancheng---which stand on the southern and northern sides of the river respectively. It is the only large city in the adjoining area of Hubei, Henan, Sichuan and Shaanxi provinces. Xiangyang is honored as a national-level Garden City, Civilized City, Sanitary City, Excellent Tourism City and China Charming City.

Xiangyang is a state-level cultural and historic city enjoying a history of over 2800 years with a splendid culture. It has been the military fortress since the ancient times, resulting in the convergence of Chu culture and Central China culture. The unique conditions and long history give birth to the brilliant historical figures such as Song Yu, a literature from ancient Chu Kingdom; Liu Xiu, Emperor Gangwu of Han Dynasty; Zhu Geliang, an outstanding statesman and strategist of Three Kingdoms Period; Meng Haoran, a great poet of Tang Dynasty; MiFu ,a famous calligrapher and painter of Song Dynasty.

Xiangyang also has the state level scenic spot--Long Zhong Mountain. It locates fifteen kilometers west of Xiangcheng District. Surrounded by pines and cypresses covered hills, brooding over winding streams, Little Rainbow Bridge (Xiaobongqiao), Half Moon Creek (Banyuexi), Old Dragon Cave (Laolongdong) and Holding the Knee Stone (Baiqishi) are all well worth a visit. Besides, there are other scenic spots and cultural sites, including the ancient Xiangyang Wall, Xiangyang City Moat, the Pseudo-classic Street which is the longest in China, Memorial Temple to Mi Fu, Lu- men Temple ,tec.

With a varied geographic structure, Xiangyang is embraced by mountains in the west, plains in the middle and mounds in the east. With an average temperature of 15℃-17℃, an annual precipitation of 580mm-910mm,and an annual of 1,778 hours, Xiangyang shares the features of both northern and southern climates.

The practice of the national strategic to develop China's western areas is making Xiangyang a strategic place connecting the east of China and Xiangyang will radiate more active economic infuence over the bordering areas. Xiangyang Aston completed construction in the summer of 2008, with its inaugural term in September of that year. With heavy investment in quality, the interior of the school is beautifully decorated and outfitted. Two spacious teachers’ lounges and seven glass-walled offices give an open and spacious work environment. The school itself is massive in anticipation of rapid growth, with 20 classrooms and a roomy reception area fitted with computers and wireless Internet.

It’s located in central Fancheng district, north of the river. Elevators and the “sky-bridge” lend access to the school’s entrance. The large bay windows on one side of the school lend a view of the neighboring People’s square. Most bus-lines run from just outside. Both fast-food and local cuisine options are available within moment’s walk.

An all-new staff was hired and trained on-location by the experienced staff of nearby schools. They are energetic and excited to work with the foreign visitors that come to teach here. Apartments

The apartments are nearly by our school. Being so close means it's easy to go home and relax after a long day teaching, or being only a two-minute walk, you can even spend your lunch-break at home.

All apartments are furnished with a sofa, TV, western-style toilet, etc. Being in a gated apartment-complex also offers extra reassurance and security. The complex is situated in the heart of the city, within a 5-minute walk you'll find the 24 hour McDonald's, the western-style gym, banks, supermarkets, a fresh-produce market, western bars, countless local restaurants and the complex is right next to a bus stop if you want to go anywhere else in the City.

Top Reasons to live in Xiangyang

Good shopping. Xiangfan has a great selection of shops, shopping malls and markets, where you can buy anything from sports clothes to sunglasses to arts and crafts.

Nearby scenic areas. There are many areas of natural beauty that are a short travelling distance from xiangfan, such as the beautiful Wudaoxiao scenic area, the Mi temple scenic area, the nanzhang Shuijing Height scenic area and many more.
