Milestones

• 1992 Austin English Academy founded in Austin, Texas.
• 1996 Aston Educational Group enters the Chinese market with its first Aston English School in Dalian.
• 1997 Aston Recruitment Division established in Washington Boro, New Jersey.
• 1997 Aston Teacher Training Division established in China.
• 1998 Aston Education Research and Development Division established. There are now offices in China and England.
• 2000 Aston English School's success in Dalian motivates its rapid expansion across China.
• 2003 Aston Education Research and Development Division completes work on our advanced series of professional ESL language books, which covers a range from children to adults. We also have a series of books focusing on test preparation and business English. To date Aston has over 24 language books tailored for use in its high-powered line up of courses.
• 2005 Aston Educational Group sets up Aston International Singapore to explore new opportunities in Southern China and Southeast Asia.
• 2006 Aston English School opens its 40th school in China.
• 2007 Aston Associates – Aston’s key corporate training division opens in Beijing
• 2008 Aston English School Group creates its 120 hour TEFL certification Program and begins its first school in Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
• 2009Aston’s Ebuddy online learning platform successfully introduced to Aston English schools.
• 2010Aston reorganizes it's China schools into to 2 main separate brands: Aston English and A+
